The health and well-being of our customers and staff are of the utmost importance and during this challenging time. The staff at Equipped Electrical FNQ would like to take this opportunity to provide you with our response to the COVID-19 coronavirus health pandemic. As a business providing in-home services in our community, we are taking extensive measures throughout our organisation to limit the spread of the virus and remain a trusted provider of electrical services throughout FNQ.

Workplace hygiene is more important than ever and our staff are focusing on the ability to provide our services while ensuring the health and safety of our customers, particularly those who are more vulnerable. Equipped Electrical FNQ have put business contingency plans in place to safeguard all parties as well as ensuring continuation of service. We will continue to seek recommendations of the authorities and we will continue to closely monitor the status of the outbreak and seek guidance from public health officials and government agencies.

 

Extra Measures for our staff and customers:

• Our employees are conscious of hand hygiene practices between each customer visit. All work vehicles will have hand soap and sanitiser on-board when possible as well as disinfectant spray.

• There will be no hand to hand contact between Equipped Electrical FNQ staff and our customers or associated personnel. That is hand shaking and/or high fiving. Virtual fist bumps are cool.

• Our staff will keep a distance of 1.5m from customers and other staff to avoid the risk of potential infection.

• Our staff may ask you remove yourself from the immediate work area or maintain a considerate distance to make sure everyone remains extra safe.

• Our staff will try to adjust the visit to the customers’ wishes when and where possible.

• No staff member presenting any cold-flu like symptom will be permitted to work where risk of potential infection could occur. All staff have been briefed on proper procedures to follow in the event of feeling unwell.
